Making a Will may not always seem necessary, but no matter how much or how little you have to leave, making a Will is the sensible and considerate thing to do. Apart from dealing with your possessions, a Will can also be used for the appointment of guardians for your children and for giving directions to your guardians, executors and trustees.
A Will need not be complicated but it is prudent for it to be prepared by a solicitor.
If you already have a Will, you may at some point consider revising it, for example if your financial or family circumstances change. In these situations we can draft a codicil or redraft your Will, at very little expense.
Probate is the process that gives official recognition to a Will after someone dies. We will act promptly to obtain the necessary documentation to sell or transfer assets. We will pay debts and taxes, and distribute the estate. We can also advise when disputes arise.
