At Hedleys-Law we offer a free 30 minute interview to determine the issues as to what should happen to the matrimonial home, pensions and other investments and assets. A range of Financial and Property Orders are avaliable which need to have regard to the financial capacity of each party, the length of the marriage, the needs of children and to determine whether the general principle of equality in division of assets is to apply. Hedleys-Law will provide a specialist service at a competitively priced hourly rate.

Children

Hedleys-Law have considerable experience in dealing with residence and contact issues both for father's and mother's. Issues between father's and mother's often become contentious and at Hedleys-Law we will always seek to resolve these difficulties with or without Court Proceedings so that a father gets to see his children if this is being denied and obtains parental responsibility if at all possible and to ensure that so far as a mother is concerned, contact arrangements are sensible and appropriate. It is our view that issues relating to children require both a positive and a sensitive approach.

Pre-Nuptial Agreements

Whilst Pre-Nuptial Agreeements are not binding on the Courts, they are however taken into consideration by the Courts and Hedleys-Law prepares such remembering that one in three marriages now ends in divorce.
